Positioned on the exclusive 17th and 18th floors, these installations from our Lagoon Collection adorn the corridors leading to the private suites, creating a breathtaking visual experience for guests.
The Utopia of the Seas, the newest addition to Royal Caribbean's Oasis class of cruise ships, is a marvel of engineering and design. As the latest and most advanced ship in the Oasis series, it holds its place as the second-largest cruise in the world. Built at the prestigious Chantiers de L'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, this behemoth of the seas embarked on its maiden voyage on July 19, 2024.
With an impressive 18 decks, 16 of which are open to guests, and a capacity of nearly eight thousand people. Its state-of-the-art amenities and luxurious suites provide an unparalleled cruising experience for those seeking both adventure and comfort.
For this majestic vessel, our team was honoured to contribute two bespoke lighting installations on the exclusive 17th and 18th floors, where they adorn the corridors leading to the private suites. They serve as a visual gateway to luxury, elevating the experience of Utopia’s most privileged guests.
The design is composed of our Lagoon Collection, a series that embraces the fluid, free-form lines and soft curves reminiscent of a serene lagoon. Like a hidden cove in nature, it captures the tranquillity and beauty of water, with each glass component reflecting the shimmering hues of gold, enhanced by innovative nanocoating technology. The result is a display of light that radiates in every direction, creating a dynamic and captivating visual landscape that seems to play out across the walls like a living piece of art.
