Zore

Inspired by the beauty of morning twilight with the promise of the warm brightness of the sun. Each handblown crystal drop of the Zore installation features an integrated source to provide just the right amount of light, enhanced by the golden and silvery hues of metal nano-coating. Together these delicate drops create a glorious declaration of love and tranquility, bringing the radiance of dawn indoors.

Designed by Katarina Lukackova. Ever since I was a child, I have had a great liking for visual arts. At the same time, I tried to develop technical skills and a pragmatic approach, which led me to study architecture and urbanism. After I obtained a degree, my career turned towards art again. With glass being such a fascinating material, I got excited about product design. The fact that I do not come from a glass-making background allows me to step back and take a different look at working with glass. It gives me space to search for new possibilities, explore the limits and try to extend them.
