Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur

Given the lobby’s modernist look, we simply aimed for a more pared-down but still inventive and unique variation on the traditional chandelier. To achieve this result, we opted for triangular glass rods instead of classically shaped crystal components. The individual pieces’ varying length enhances the design and produces a picture resembling a delicious layer cake. When observed from below, this installation creates the impression of a flower in full bloom. It includes a total of 868 components in seven different lengths ranging from 250 to 900 mm. The rods are made of profiled polished technical glass cut to the correct size.
